Modern Microcars
|
| Before last year's National I contacted every
modern microcar manufacturer (including electric and human-powered. All said "Sorry,
not this year, maybe next year" This year it emerged that all were in
discussions with potential agents last year. They were a welcome addition to the
classic micros, here are some of them. The 'Aixam' test drives, that 'Moneybags'
and I organised for everyone, were very popular. |
 |
'Aixam' of France have started marketing these cute little microcars in
Britain. Powered by a 500c.c. twin cylinder diesel. |
| 'Smarts' were plentiful, these two arrived after finding details of the
National on this website and ringing me to ask if it would be frowned upon if
they turned up! Apart from entries like these the 'Smart' stand did a roaring
trade. |

'Reliant' are now acting as agents for 'Ligier' and 'Microcar' (two French
manufacturers of microcars and 'Voitures sans Permis') |
